Pono Tiave will be operating The Leather Doctor territory in all of Hawaii, USA. He holds Leather, Fabric, Timber, and Stone licenses.
We spoke to him about his reasons for joining The Leather Doctor and what he hopes to achieve with his business.

What was it that attracted you to join The Leather Doctor business?
The style of business, the many different people you meet, and that you can experience something new every day at work.
What did you both do prior to becoming a Leather Doctor?
Before becoming a Leather Doctor, I worked as an Accountant and Construction Project Manager.
What territory will you manage?
I’ll be working and managing the Hawaii territory. With all 4 licenses across Leather, Fabric, Timber and Stone I can’t wait to help customers across all of their repair and restoration needs.
What do you hope to achieve during your time as a Leather Doctor?
I hope to become a master technician and gain expert knowledge of the work we do.
What advice would you give to someone looking to become a Leather Doctor?
Be thorough and do your homework to make sure it’s the right fit for you.
Tell us something interesting about yourself?
I love wrenching on cars and trucks.
Describe your ideal weekend?
In the basement, blinds closed, air conditioning on freezing, doing movie marathons with my little family on the surround sound and eating popcorn and candy while watching.
